UK Driver Familiarisation
Are you a driver visiting the UK for the first time?
Is driving on the left proving to be somewhat a challenge?
Our UK Familiarisation course has been developed to help overseas visitors who need to drive here
You dont need to be taught how to drive again or be patronised in the process
We will cover:
Theory of driving in the UK and how to be sure that you are legal
Urban driving including, roundabouts, traffic lights, one way systems, pedestrian crossings, priorities etc…..
Rural driving which includes single carriageway roads, dual carriageways and motorways etc….
Hazard awareness, driver behaviour and driving defensively
Concentration, observation, anticipation and creation of space and time
This is designed so that overseas visitors are able to gain greater confidence in their abilities to drive safely on our congested roads
All areas of driving are patiently addressed, giving visiting drivers the information and skills required to go about their business safely and enjoy driving here in the UK
